This statistic shows the result of a question from the British Social Attitudes survey which asked what kind of effect, if any, the respondents think immigration has on the economy. The respondents have been split here by household income quartile. The starkest difference to observe here is that of the Q4 group in comparison to the rest. With 48 percent believing immigration is good for the economy, this was 17 percent higher than the Q3 group and more than double that of the Q1.
