This statistic shows the result of a survey conducted among Catholics in 2014 in various regions of the world on the abortion in different cases. Almost 60 percent of African Catholics said that abortion should not be allowed at all.

The survey was conducted in 9 languages, across 5 continents and in 12 countries. The countries included in the study were selected after analyzing the Catholic population distribution and concentration around the world. These 12 countries represent 61% of the world’s Catholic population.
