This survey shows the share of grocery shoppers who used food discounters such as Lidl and Aldi in the past month in Great Britain, from January 2011 to January 2014. In January 2011, 39 percent of British grocery shoppers surveyed said they had used a food discounter in the past month. The same survey in January 2014 showed 51 percent to have used a discounter in the previous month.
