Proportion of wholesalers and retailers victim to crime in England and Wales 2018

This survey shows the proportion of wholesale and retail premises experiencing crime incidents in England and Wales in 2018, by type of crime. In the 12 months prior to survey, 24 percent of retail and wholesale premises experienced thefts, while 21 percent experienced thefts committed specifically by customers. Vandalism affected ten percent of retail and wholesale premises, and fraud by others affected four percent.
