Number of foreign language movies released in Ireland and the UK 2001-2021
After reaching new heights toward the end of the 2010s, the number of foreign language movies released in Ireland and the United Kingdom plummeted by 2021. That year, 142 films where the main language spoken was not English were released across the two countries – the lowest number since 2002.
