In 2020, the spending on feature films produced in the United Kingdom increased by about three percent to approximately 1.55 billion British pounds. Out of that total, 1.28 billion pounds came from inward investment. Domestic and co-production spending amounted to around 220 thousand and 58 thousand pounds, respectively. The UK's film industry workforce increased in 2021.
