Number of domestic overnight vacations in Great Britain 2010-2022
In 2022, the number of domestic overnight holiday trips in Great Britain rose to 42 million. Between April and December of the previous year, the figure stood at 32.6 million, with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic having impacted the ability to travel within the country at the time. Based on figures going back to 2010, the number of trips peaked in 2019, the year before the beginning of the pandemic, having reached above 60 million for the first time.
