This statistic shows the retail purchase volume of fresh and frozen meat in the United Kingdom from 2005 to 2015, split by type of meat (beef, lamb, pork and poultry). In 2011, 581.6 thousand tonnes of poultry was purchased by households in the UK, the highest volume purchased out of the four given meat types. In total, 1.1 million tonnes of fresh and frozen beef, lamb, pork and poultry meat were purchased that year.
