As of September 2024, Disney-owned college athletics channel ESPNU had approximately 47 million subscribers, whilst ESPN2 had 66 million. Disney acquired 21st Century Fox in early 2019, including among others National Geographic and Fox channels, which combined gave Disney several hundred million additional subscribers.
