This statistic shows the distribution of overnight domestic holiday trips taken to the countryside in Great Britain in 2012, by social grade. The data also includes a comparison to all domestic holiday trips taken that year. Most domestic tourists traveling to the countryside for a holiday were within the AB and C1 social grades, which ranges from lower middle class to upper middle class. Overall most domestic holidays were generally taken by these social groups.
