'Worse than average' financial risk rating among SMEs 2014-2019

This statistic displays the share of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with a financial risk rating of 'worse than average' in the United Kingdom (UK) from the years ending June 2014 to June 2019, by sector. In June 2019, it was found that 53 percent of the transport sector SMEs was rated as having worse than average financial risk. The sector with the largest proportion of minimal/low risk SMEs was Agriculture.
