This statistic presents the sexual and nonsexual cyber dating abuse victimization rates among teens in a current or recent relationship, by gender. During the 2012 survey, it was found that 23.3 percent of teenage males and 28.8 percent of teenage females had suffered from cyber dating abuse within a relationship. Sexual cyber dating abuse includes activities such as the sending or taking of unwanted naked pictures while nonsexual cyber abuse includes activities such as the unauthorised use of the victim's social networking account.
