The monthly expenditure on domestic holiday travel in Great Britain generally shows similar yearly trends over the period from January 2017 to December 2019. A higher proportion of holiday spending occurs within Great Britain in the summer months, particularly in August. In 2019 around 2.5 billion British pounds were spent in August, compared to 2.4 billion during the same period a year earlier.
