According to a survey run in waves between 2015 and 2022 in the United Kingdom (UK), 19 percent of internet users reported consuming digital TV shows illegally in 2022. The lowest figure was reported in the years 2020 and 2021 within the eight-year survey period, while the highest figure was reported in 2018 - here, 23 percent of respondents admitted to illegal consumption of TV programs.
