Smartphone use for travel-related booking in the U.S. in 2013, by channel
This statistic shows how US consumers used smartphones for leisure travel-related booking as of June 2013, by channel. During the survey, 58 percent of respondents stated that they used their smartphone browser to book car rental, 40 percent said they used a smartphone app, and 42 percent said they made their car rental booking by telephone call.
