This statistic presents the percentage of US youths and parents who are aware of the danger posting personal information online as of April 2013. During an online study, it was found that 93 percent of youths in the United States considered it dangerous to post information regarding their home address online. In contrast, only 65 percent of parents were worried that their child was posting information regarding their home address online.
