This statistic presents the percentage of students in the United States who were cyber bullied, divided by the presence of selected school security measures reported by students. During the school year 2012-13, 83.9 percent of students between the ages of 12 and 18 years who were cyber bullied reported the presence of security cameras at their school. Cyber bullying includes unwanted contact by threatening or insulting the respondent via digital communications as well as sharing private information online.
