During the survey, 23.2 percent of the respondents from Germany stated that they considered international travel spending to be a high priority, and 16.6 percent thought it was an extremely high priority.

During the survey, this question was posed as follows: "Thinking carefully about hwo you expect to spend your income in the next 12 months, please use the scale below to describe your spending priorities." From each of the American feeder markets shown in the graph, at least 800 completed surveys were collected from a random sample of internationally-oriented travelers.
