* The respondents who were surveyed share among them over 330,000 vehicles from Model Year 2000 to Model Year 2023 (with a few early introduced Model Year 2024) in their garages. Consumers are asked about problems they consider serious and which they have experienced within the past 12 months. Serious problems were detailed in a list containing 20 trouble spots.Â
According to the source, their brand rankings are based on the average reliability for vehicles in a lineup. For a brand to be ranked, it must have sufficient survey data for a minimum of two models.
