Online activities ranked by usage penetration in Great Britain (GB) 2019

This statistic displays the results of a survey on the most popular internet activities in Great Britain (GB) as of March 2019, ranked by regular usage penetration. The survey was conducted via face-to-face interviews with approximately 1,000 people of 15 years of age or older in Great Britain. The gathered data was weighted to a nationally representative profile. The most popular online activity of respondents was to check E-mails, with 80 percent of respondents having stated that they did so in the previous three months of sampling. Visiting sites for info personal interest was the second most common response with 72 percent.
