Inbound visits to London, United Kingdom, grew back in 2022, following a sharp drop due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In 2022, trips for holiday purposes accounted for the highest number of overseas tourist visits to London. Vacation visits in the UK's capital, however, remained below pre-pandemic levels, totaling just above eight million in 2022.
