This statistic shows a trend in the amount spent on clothing (sales value) monthly in Great Britain from January 2015 to January 2023, as an index of sales per week. Clothing sales value had a hard fall during the first coronavirus lockdown, dropping to 30.4 in April 2020. With the ease of lockdown measures the values have rapidly increased starting from May 2020. However, value of clothing sales have decreased again in the first three months of 2021. Sales value increased overall since then and stood at an index point of 109.3 in January 2023.
