Household spending on food in Mexico 1984 and 2006

This statistic lays out the difference in household food expenditures between 1984 and 2006 in Mexico. Overall, in 1984 expenditures were higher compared to 2006; food spending amounted to 45 percent in 1984, with more than 26 percent corresponding to spending on meat and over 10 percent on vegetables.
