Value of imported vehicles from Japan to the EU 2015-2022
Passenger car imports from Japan into the European Union were valued at nearly 7.7 billion euros in 2022, up from 7.1 billion euros in 2021. Japan is one of the major source countries for EU passenger car imports in terms of value, accounting for about 11 percent of the total value of imports in 2022. Compared with the previous year, the value of imported vehicles from Japan has increased by nearly eight percent.
