The statistic shows the results of an online survey conducted among Hispanic consumers in the United States in 2013. Latinos were polled about what kinds of food they have consumed in the last three months at home and while dining out at restaurants and cafés. Some 66 percent of respondents indicated to have ordered American classics while dining out in the last three months in 2013.

The survey was conducted in both English and Spanish. Results were weighted to accurately reflect the U.S. adult Hispanic/Latino population. The original questions ran as follows: 'And what styles of food have you cooked or prepared at home in the past 3 months?'. ' Which of the following best describes the style of food you had at restaurants/cafés, etc. in the past three months?'
