This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted by ECH Research in June 2011. More than 200 US smoker households were polled if they ever used another form of tobacco or if it was their first tobacco use as they started e-cigarettes. Some 99 percent of repondents indicated to use other forms of tobacco before trying electronic cigarettes.
