BBC network TV programming spending distribution in the UK 2012-2021, by region

In 2021, close to half of the BBC's programming expenditure in the United Kingdom was spent on London programming. The north of England had around 17 percent of the BBC's programming expenditure, whilst the south of England displayed of approximately ten percent.
