This statistic shows how long term unemployment affects the confidence of young people in the United Kingdom (UK). The Prince's Trust Youth Index 2013 measured the feelings of over 2,000 people aged from 16 to 25. Of the unemployed participants, there was a noticeable decrease in confidence between the people who had been unemployed for less than 6 months and the people who had been without work for over a year.
