The leading issuer of commercial cards in the United States in 2021, by purchase volume, was JP Morgan Chase. A year earlier, JPMorgan Chase lost this position when its purchase volume decreased to around 146 billion U.S. dollars in 2020, while Bank of Americas purchase value increased that year, up to around 168 billion U.S. dollars.
