In 2023, roughly 29 percent of all cosmetic surgical procedures were performed by plastic surgeons in the mountain and pacific region covering the west of the U.S. Similarly, nearly a third of all minimally-invasive cosmetic procedures were also conducted in these regions. Cosmetic procedures, whether invasive or not, had similar regional distributions.
