Sanofi's net income 2007-2023

In 2023, Sanofi’s net income amounted to some 5.4 billion euros. Over the past 12 years, the French pharmaceutical company’s net income numbers have fluctuated significantly. However, the 2020 amount was by far the highest in the given period.

Assets and revenue

Sanofi S.A. had a total assets value of over 126 billion euros in 2023, one of the highest asset values the company has had over the past decade. In the same year, the pharmaceutical giant generated over 43 billion euros’ worth of revenue. Thus, Sanofi’s 2020-2023 revenue numbers were the highest in the last decade.

Sanofi’s pharmaceutical products

Sanofi produces a variety of pharmaceutical drugs and products, such as Lantus, Plavix, and Fabrazyme, to name a few. Generating some 1.4 billion euros in 2023, the company’s second top product was Lantus (insulin glargine). With 145 products in the pipeline, Sanofi spent approximately 5.4 billion euros on research and development in 2023. The company’s R&D expenditures have been increasing steadily since 2013, but dropped between 2019 and 2020.
