Volume of highway freight in China 2020, by region
In 2020, approximately 2.7 billion tons of freight were transported via highways in Shandong. This value was the highest transportation number recorded in China that year. In contrast, the volume of goods transferred by highways amounted to 40.3 million tons in Tibet.
