As of 2020, the length of highways in the Sichuan province in China amounted to around 394,371 kilometers, which was the longest highway recorded in China. Following this, the Yunnan region had the second-longest highway, with 292,479 kilometers. In contrast, 12,917 kilometers of the highway was registered in Shanghai in that year.
