US singles: checking emails as first morning activity in 2013, by age

This graph displays the share of US smartphone owners who check their mobile device (for e-mails, texts, etc.) first thing in the morning, segmented into different age groups. According to an online survey conducted in 2013, the majority of the respondents who checked their mobile device(s) right after waking up, belonged to the 21 to 26 age group, with over 50 percent. The group less likely to check their mobile device first thing in the morning was the 43 to 50 age group, at less than 35 percent.
