This statistic depicts the global AgeWatch Index ranking of all countries worldwide in 2015. The ranking value shows how near a country is to the ideal value, and shows differences between the countries. The ranking value combines the income security, health status, employment and education, as well as the enabling environment for the elderly in the respective country. Germany was ranked fourth in 2015 with a index score of 84.3.
The ranking is composed of a set of 13 different indicators based on four key domains: income security, health status, education and employment, and enabling environment.
