This statistic displays the share of respondents in different age groups who owned a tablet from November 2010 through May 2013. The number of tablets owned across all four age groups listed started growing in May 2011, with the majority of owners belonging to the 18-29 demographic, at 12 percent. As of December 2011, and all through May 2013, the majority of tablet owners were aged 30 through 49-- growing from 14 percent in 2011 to almost 45 percent in 2013.
