This graph portrays the market share held by tablet vendors in Middle Eastern and African countries during the 2nd quarters of 2012 and 2013. Apple held just under half of the market share in 2012, dropping by the 2nd quarter of 2013 to a market share of under 25 percent. Samsung, on the other hand, held roughly 24 percent of the market in 2013, a considerable growth from 2012 when the company held less than 20 percent of the market. Lenovo, ASUS and Acer all gained a greater share of the tablet market during this time period.
