Spanish-based Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was the leading offshore wind turbine manufacturer in Europe in 2020. That year, capacity additions of 1,840 megawatts were made by the company, more than double the volume added by its nearest competitor - MHI Vestas Offshore Wind.
