Ranked brands meet the following eligibility criteria: 1. Brand was created by a Mainland China enterprise. 2. Brand is owned by a publicly traded enterprise, 3. Brand reported positive earnings for the period covered by the ranking. 4. Financial institutions category includes only banks that derive at least 20 percent of their earnings from retail banking.
