North American light vehicle production forecast 2018-2022

Light vehicle production across North America reached a total of 13.0 million units in 2020, down nearly 24 percent from production in 2018. This is projected to steadily recover throughout 2021 and 2022. Predictions indicate that the United States--the region's largest automotive market--will produce 11.6 million light vehicles in 2022 in addition to Mexico and Canada's combined 5.2 million.
