Government requests for content removal from Google H1 2024, by country and region

In the first half of 2024, Russian authorities sent 26,515 requests to Google about content removal, the highest number of requests worldwide. With more than 5,800 requests, South Korea ranked second, followed by India, with over 2,100 requests about content removal.
