Consumption of paid online editorial content in the U.S. 2017-2019
A study conducted in the United States in 2019 revealed that ten percent of respondents stated that they paid for online editorial content such as news, e-magazines, e-papers, or longer editorial features, down from 12 percent in the third quarter of 2017. Meanwhile, the share of those who did pay but were thinking about stopping, and people who did not pay but were considering starting, remained unchanged.
