Between 1998 and 2023, North America's natural gas production increased by around 545 billion cubic meters, reaching a production-peak in the latter year.

Since the data is derived directly from metric tons of oil equivalent using an average conversion factor, it does not necessarily equate with gas volumes expressed in specific national terms.
