Oil production in Argentina amounted to 1,074 thousand barrels per day in 2023, an increase by nearly 13 percent in comparison with the previous year. As of 2023, the country was amongst the largest oil producing countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. However, in comparison to 2009, production has decreased.
