Turkey’s consumption of oil has been generally increasing since 2013, when it was at just 701 thousand barrels per day. Consumption remained relatively stable between 2015 and 2021, ranging from 919 thousand to million barrels a day. In 2023, the consumption volume peaked at about 1.14 million barrels per day.
