Oil consumption in Saudi Arabia 1990-2023

Saudi Arabia consumed 172.4 million metric tons of oil in 2023. This represented over a threefold increase compared to 1990. Oil is the main source of energy consumed in the country as Saudi Arabia hold huge hydrocarbon reserves. It is also among the leading oil-producing countries worldwide.
