This survey presents the results of a quantitative online survey conducted in 2012. Survey respondents were asked regarding the variety of approaches used for family decision-making. The survey revealed that some 56 percent of families use the 'board of directors' approach, where ultimately the parents make the final decisions, but seek their childrens' input beforehand.
