Number of pay TV subscriptions in Brazil 2012-2023, by region

At the end of 2023, there were approximately 11.7 million subscriptions to pay TV in Brazil, out of which 6.8 million – or 58 percent – were in the Southeast region, where cities like São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are located. That same year, the Northeast region was home to about 1.6 million pay TV subscribers. Meanwhile, the number of pay TV subscriptions in Latin America was expected to decreas by 1.4 percent between 2022 and 2023.
