The Kazakh uranium company KazAtomProm is the world's largest producer of uranium by a large margin. In 2022, KazAtomProm produced a 23 percent share of the global uranium production. By comparison, Cameco, the second-largest uranium miner that year produced about half as much uranium as KazAtomProm.
