In the fiscal year of 2023, Airbus Group had research and development costs of around 3.26 billion euros. This was a six percent increase compared to the previous year when the R&D spending amounted to around three billion euros. The European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS) was reorganized as Airbus Group in January 2014.
